SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024

The Staff Selection Commission has unveiled the final Exam Pattern for the SSC CGL 2024 Exam by releasing an official Notification for every clarification about exams. The Commission has made a few modifications to Exam Scheme and Syllabus. Therefore all the candidates must be aware of the Examination Pattern and other aspects. SSC CGL Exam Pattern

The final selection of a suitable candidate is made by various exam levels. The Staff Selection Commission has changed their SSC CGL Syllabus & Exam Pattern this year. So the Latest and finalized Exam Scheme is intimated below.

The SSC CGL Examination will be conducted in Four Tiers as indicated below:
Tier-1 – Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier-2 – Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier-3 – Descriptive Paper(Paper Pen Mode)
Tier-4 – Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test/Document Verification

Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams will be on computer-based mode (Online) and Tier 3 exams will be based on Paper pen mode exams. Tier 4 is Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test/Document Verification.

SSC CGL TIER – I Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam is a preliminary exam and those who are submitted their application form successfully for CGLE are eligible for the preliminary exam or Tier 1. The scheme of the Tier 1 exam is as followed:

SSC CGL TIER-II Exam Pattern

Tier 2 Exam is the mains exam or second stage exam. Only those who are qualified for Pre Exam exam are eligible for SSC CGL Tier 2 Syllabus Exam. The Exam scheme of the Tier 2 exam is as followed:

SSC CGL Tier – III Exam Pattern

Final Merit:- The Final Merit will be prepared on overall performance in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. But the candidate will also need to qualify Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 separately. There will be no sectional cut-off of any parts of the paper however candidates need to qualify the Overall SSC CGL Cut Off Marks to appear in the further exam.
