The candidate must hold a master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject apart from Hindi or English, with Hindi and English either as compulsory or elective subjects, or both as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
AND
The candidate must have a diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years of experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a central or state government office, including the Government of India Undertaking.
For Post Code ‘E’:
Candidates must have a master’s degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
A master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of examination at the degree level, must be obtained from a recognized university.
OR
A master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi as the medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of an examination at the degree level, is required.
OR
A master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English as the medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of examination at the degree level, is required.
OR
Master’s Degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
AND
Candidates have possessed the recognized diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or three years of experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a central or state government office, including the Government of India Undertaking.
For Post Code ‘F’:
A master’s degree in Hindi or English from a recognized university, with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level, is required.
Or
Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the terms “compulsory” and “elective”).
Note: Candidates must have studied English and Hindi as main subjects in all three years of the BA pass course.
For Post Code ‘G’:
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at the degree level, either as compulsory or optional, from a recognized university or institute, plus a master’s degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute, plus a Bachelor of Education from a recognized university/institute.
OR
Candidates have must a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized University or institute, plus a Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level, either as compulsory or optional, from a recognized University or institute, plus a bachelor of

Desirable: The candidate has two years of experience teaching Hindi at the senior secondary level under central or state governments or recognized educational institutions.
